About the Workshop

Structure from Disorder

A collaborative, welcoming meeting for labs studying intrinsically disordered proteins across disciplines.

The Northeast Regional Disordered Proteins Workshop brings together researchers from the Northeast who study disordered protein structure and function across scales in biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering.

Our goals are to talk science, introduce labs to one another, and foster a collaborative, welcoming atmosphere for new ideas. The long-term vision is to establish a regional research center on disordered proteins.

Part of the meeting will focus on formulating research ideas and collaborations to write research center grants. We are honored to host Prof. Seung (Sue) Rhee (Michigan State University) and Prof. Tobin Sosnick (University of Chicago) as experienced leaders in team science and research center management.
